This class is specifically designed for people who love the outdoors and bushcraft. A leathercrafting workshop held in an outdoor setting, a private campground/farm in Cebu.

You don’t need any previous experience with leather working as you will learn the core skills and techniques on the course. It’s a perfect introduction to making traditional leather items.

So if you’re looking for an unforgettable day, join our experienced bushcraft instructor and craftsman, Ricky Petiluna of MZP Leatherworx in a 1-day (10-hour) leathercrafting workshop that focuses on leather work tools, leather classifications, design, and construction of leather-made items specific for outdoors and camp use. Examples are leather knife sheaths, EDC organizers, EDC pouch, holsters, keyfobs, leather belts, and many other exciting projects.

We have designed this leather working course around the making of a simple leather item. Projects are carefully chosen to cover all the basic skills required to produce almost any small leather goods. There is also large scope for customization of your project.

Along the way you will learn about different leathers, techniques and tools.

Upon finishing this class, you will be able to make your own knife sheath, knife case or axe mask and learn the basic techniques for leather work in the process. We will provide you with the materials, tools and guidance to accomplish your first leather work project to take home. You will learn how to properly lay out, cut, dye, sew and finish your leather project that is 100% handcrafted.

Participants may bring their own meal/lunch at the venue. We will provide free tea, coffee, and drinks at camp. We will have a relaxed learning environment where you still get to enjoy the outdoors while crafting.

During the workshop I was able to fix my 2 leather belts as well as make for myself a leather sheath for my Leatherman multi-tool!

The instructor was very knowledgeable. He eagerly shared and imparted his knowledge of the craft to us, the participants.

Leather crafting is fun and fulfilling! I highly recommend this workshop to everyone!
