This course covers far beyond basic first aid and urban-based emergency responder programs to include fundamentals inherent in guiding groups in the outdoors and leading fellow outdoor enthusiasts on different wilderness adventures. The entire course is taught in an outdoor setting and requires greater physical activity and endurance than typical first aid training.
Each activities will be focused on accident scene management, group leadership, leader responsibility and liability, prevention of injuries, advanced first aid kits, wound management, managing the trauma victim, basic survival and navigation skills & many more.
